Town House is joining together with our fellow Broadleaf Partnership Trust schools, Holland House and Plantsbrook, to launch a new scheme aimed at improving our school sites and bringing our schools closer to our communities.
We’re looking for volunteers to help look after our grounds and teach our learners about food production, gardening skills and public service.
With an allotment at Town House in need of regeneration, to the developing Forest School that joins Holland House and Plantsbrook, we want to make the most of the green spaces we have and show our students what can be achieved when people come together for the benefit of all.
Perhaps you’re recently retired and wanting a project to get involved in, or just someone with some spare time and transferable skills that can really help our students understand the world they live in. From gardening to supporting our Sustainability Groups on their mission to pick up litter and recycle as much as possible, you’d be contributing to our combined mission to make our corner of Sutton Coldfield better for everyone.
If you’d like to get involved, register your interest via this form – Become a Community Champion
We’ll be inviting our potential champions to a special Coffee & Cake event to say thank you and so we can learn more about each other.
Please note, any successful Community Champion will need to undergo a full DBS check.
