Holland House and Town House will officially become Town House Primary School in September after the Department for Education approved the merger.
The plans were first raised in a consultation with staff, parents and stakeholders earlier this year, with the aim of formalising the existing partnership between the two schools to better serve our community.
The amalgamation will improve financial efficiency by reducing duplicated costs and achieving economies of scale, allowing more funding to be directed towards pupils. It will allow one consistent team to support children and families from nursery through to Year 6, ensuring pastoral care and safeguarding remain continuous, with no loss of knowledge as pupils move through the school.
Educationally, through amalgamation we will be better able to provide consistent curriculum oversight across the full primary phase, aligning policies, ensuring smoother transitions between year groups, and improved tracking of progress. We also believe families will benefit from simplified communication and admissions processes, while staff will gain greater flexibility, shared professional development, and enhanced expertise across all primary key stages.

Following a wide and incredibly helpful consultation process with families and stakeholders, we are thrilled to announce that our new combined school will be named Town House Primary School.
We know that by bringing these two wonderful predecessor schools together, we will be able to provide your children with a much more seamless, continuous, and enriched primary education journey. We are pleased that Town House Primary School will continue to be expertly led by Maddy Bromley as Headteacher, who brings fantastic vision and experience to this role.
To celebrate our new beginning, we are also officially unveiling our new school logo today! This was a true team effort, with the children helping to design it through a special school competition. We think it perfectly represents our new, shared identity.

The new logo took design inspiration from a competition conducted in both schools, that saw a number of similar entries keen to maintain elements of the existing logos of both schools.
