How to apply for September 2027
Applications will open on the 1st of September 2026 and will close on the 15th of January 2027. All applications must be made online using this link or by using a Local Authority Preference Form.
The oversubscription criteria are as follows:
· Looked after or previously looked after children.
· Siblings of current pupils who will still be on roll in September 2027
· Children of permanent staff at Broadleaf Partnership Trust.
· Children who live nearest to the school by straight line measurement from the home address to a designated point on the school site.
Distance
Distances are calculated on the basis of a straight-line measurement between the applicant’s home address and the school gate on Holland Road. The Local Authority uses a computerised system, which measures all distances in metres. Ordnance Survey supply the co-ordinates that are used to plot an applicant’s home address and the address of the academy.

Appeals
Appeals are coordinated by Birmingham Local Authority. Parents who wish to appeal against the decision of the Governors to refuse their child a place in the school should contact Birmingham Local Authority to request an appeal form. Waiting list
Waiting lists are held in strict oversubscription criteria order for every year group until at least the first term of each academic year. Each child added will require the list to be ranked again in line with the oversubscription criteria.
Children with a statement of special educational needs
Children with a Statement of Special Educational Needs that names the school must be admitted. This will reduce the number of places available to applicants. This is not an oversubscription criterion.
