Both Upper and Lower Schools will be getting a visit from a travelling performance of Robin Hood thanks to the PTA.
In the past few years children have had to walk to the Town Hall though the centre of Sutton to take part in a festive performance, but this year the Parent and Teacher Association has stepped in to ensure pupils get to experience the fun of panto season in the comfort of school.
The visit will take place on Wednesday 16th December and Chair of the Town House PTA, Heidi Shakespeare, says they’re delighted to support the event:
“We’re really pleased that the PTA is able to fully fund this year’s Christmas Panto. The money raised through PTA events is made possible by the amazing support of our school community, so we felt this was a lovely way to give something back to the children. We hope they all enjoy a really special Christmas treat, without parents having to contribute.”
You can help support the work of the PTA and add to their fundraising efforts at their upcoming Halloween Disco for Upper School and a special Circus Show visiting Lower School in November, along with Christmas sales of jumpers, raffle tickets and books towards the end of the month.
