Town House School has been awarded the school games Gold mark for our commitment to sport this year.
The government led awards scheme launched in 2012 recognises schools who pursue development of competition and sport across their school and community.
Ellen Bates, School Games Organiser for Spark Active, has congratulated Town on our achievement:
“Congratulations to all staff and pupils at Town on achieving GOLD 2023-2024. What a great year of sport, we look forward to many more to come. Achieving gold is great for the school and means your staff are really working hard to help the pupils at your school get the most out of their extra curriculum sport.”
Headteacher Mrs Smith says it’s a great reward for everyone’s hard work:
“We have loved seeing the sporting success this year, whether it be our girls footballers, tennis or just the general spirit all our pupils and teachers show when it comes to PE and getting active. Well done to everybody for contributing to this Gold award.”
