Town House students played their part in the official opening of the new Aldi store in the centre of Sutton Coldfield.
On Thursday 8th October, we were lucky enough to be invited to take five pupils to cut the ribbon, alongside Paralympian Nicholas Cummins who then visited Upper School to deliver an inspirational assembly.
The children were an absolute credit to Town House Primary and represented our school community to the highest possible standard.
A huge thank you to our Head Girl, Sophie, Head Boy, Sami, Sofia from Year 4, and Effy, Aima and Oscar from Year 1 for their wonderful enthusiasm – and for their very early start!

Following the Aldi opening, pupils at the Upper School were lucky enough to enjoy a visit from wheelchair rugby Paralympian Nicholas Cummins, who led an inspirational assembly. The children asked some incredibly thoughtful questions, and Nicholas’s dedication to overcoming adversity was truly admirable.
As part of a collaboration between Aldi and Nicholas, all pupils were invited to create a poster titled ‘What Does Healthy Eating Mean to Me?’.
A huge congratulations to Leyla in Year 5 for her award-winning entry – we hope she enjoys spending her £20 gift voucher in ALDI!
